Been at my massage gig almost 5 months now and I'm finally settling in and getting into my groove.

Had a client yesterday that started asking excessive questions about children:
Do you have any children? Do you want them? Do you plan on having children? Have you tried to have children?
I asked him if he has kids and he said he had a little one and then he STFU and went to sleep. Surely not the weirdest thing that could happen, but...

I have a new client that has been booking me twice a week every week for the past 3 weeks. She's also a great tipper, so that's a blessing. She's got a really chill vibe and doesn't chit-chat during her massage, which I prefer.

One of my old regulars saw that I was back and started requesting with me again. Another one from before also still comes, but now I have her husband booking with me. The wife stiffed me on a tip when she found out I was leaving and it would be her last massage with me. She even said I had better let her know if I come back. Nopes. It was only by chance her husband's regular massage therapist left and ended up getting booked with me. I don't get stiffed but it's sad for a 90 minute. I'll leave it at that.

I had a client the regularly would tell the front desk that she left the tip in my room, and told me she would leave the tip at the desk. But she just walked out the door. After a couple of times, I asked not to see her again. I don't mind if you don't have the money to tip, but be honest about it. If you are going to lie about it, what else are you not being honest about? I can't work with someone who isn't honest.

Yeah, being purposely deceitful just to avoid tipping is someone I wouldn't want to be booked with again, that's for sure.
