Look, but don't touch

So the people vote for medical marijuana in Florida and they cock-block it with a bill that bans smoking weed. Not to mention, doctors will have to Rx it rather than "recommend" it which puts them at risk of losing their federal licenses. Have they not seen the mad bank this industry is pulling in elsewhere? I thought money was the motivator in politics, no? Don't get me wrong, edibles and tinctures are great, but I don't see the logic in banning smokable forms. Just legalize it, both medical and recreational.

Florida's always been a dick, imo. This doesn't surprise me.

I am lecturing today on this very topic. Florida is very begrudging in its acceptance of marijuana!

For fuck's sake. Weed is far from my drug of choice (it just induces the opposite of desired effects. Paranoia for daaaays, baby), but I live in a hippie town where smoking is just a way of life, and it's nothing worth giving a shit about. Friend of mine sells to an elderly gentleman with pancreatic cancer who smokes in lieu of popping of pills to alleviate the pain. Just legalize it, tax it like booze, and move on to something actually important.

In Calif they finally legalized doing it (all forms), and growing it (up to 6 plants), but not buying it without a medical card. Huh? Makes no sense to me at all.
