Prying Open My 3rd Eye

Does anyone have any experience researching the concept of the third eye, and 3rd eye-opening meditations? Or, better yet, the dangers of opening your third eye?

I have done chakra meditations that more involve all 7 chakra. The kundalini chakra meditation was very powerful.
